Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、病原細菌の耐性化により使用できなくなっている抗菌薬に対し、VHH抗体を抗菌薬補助剤として利用し、再び薬効を復活させる技術開発を目的とする。当研究室ではこれまでに緑膿菌の薬剤排出ポンプに結合するVHH抗体を作製し、この抗体が多剤耐性緑膿菌に対してポリペプチド系抗菌薬コリスチンの感受性を高めることを見出した。本抗体の臨床応用に向けて抗体をヒト化する。また、院内肺炎を模倣した緑膿菌肺炎モデルを構築し、抗体の評価系を確立して治療効果を検討する。さらに、抗体と細胞膜障害性抗菌ペプチドの結合体を作製し、より活性の高い抗菌薬補助剤の開発を試みる。
