Outline of Research at the Start

ADCはがん細胞特有の分子を認識する抗体と抗がん作用を有する薬物をリンカーで連結した分子標的薬であり、すでにカドサイラ（トラスツズマブ エムタンシン）、エンハーツ（トラスツズマブデルクステカン）などが既存薬とは異なる優位性を持つ次世代の抗がん剤として注目を浴びている。ADCを構成する抗がん作用を有する種々の薬物には、天然化合物を模した薬物が活かされていることから天然化合物をリード化合物とした新薬と考えることができる。本申請課題では、天然化合物を活用したADCの開発拡大を目指し、強力な抗がん作用を有する新規天然化合物の探索および、天然化合物を用いた高性能ADCの創出に関する研究を展開する。
