Outline of Research at the Start	炎症反応は生体の防御反応である一方で、過剰な炎症反応は生体に傷害を引き起こし炎症性疾患を発症する。炎症性疾患の長期罹患は、がんの発症につながる。潰瘍性大腸炎は、年々患者数が増大している炎症性疾患であり、厚生労働省により難病指定されている。本研究の目的は、潰瘍性大腸炎の進展、大腸がんへの発展に対するオートファジー制御の影響を明らかにすることである。そのために、炎症性サイトカインの増大、腸管粘膜バリアの破綻、腸内細菌叢の変化に対するオートファジー制御の影響を明らかにする。
