Outline of Research at the Start

アトピー性皮膚炎は我が国で約1,000万人が罹患する慢性炎症性疾患であり、生物学的製剤の登場により治療の選択肢が広がっている。一方で、これらの製剤により新たに発症する副作用性皮膚炎が臨床現場で問題となっている。本研究では、皮膚マイクロバイオームに着目し、副作用発現群と非発現群の菌叢を比較することで、臨床応用可能な予測指標の構築を試みる。最終的には、治療前スクリーニングとして活用可能な、迅速かつ高精度なマイクロバイオーム解析法の開発を目指す。
