Outline of Research at the Start

COVID-19の世界的蔓延は、地域外来医療や医薬品使用状況等医療提供体制に大きな影響を及ぼしたが、これらの変化を全国規模で包括的に解析した研究は十分でない。
本研究は、COVID-19が日本の地域外来薬物療法と医薬品使用状況に与えた影響を、厚生労働省の匿名医療保険等関連情報データベースを用いた深層学習解析により明らかにする。COVID-19蔓延前後の比較で、地域ごとの医療提供体制及び重複処方や処方動向の変化を分析することで、パンデミック時の迅速な医療対応力の向上、医薬品供給の安定化、重複投薬防止に寄与するだけでなく、将来の感染症蔓延時における医療提供体制の改善に役立つ知見を提供できる。
