Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、抗腫瘍効果を持つインターロイキン（IL）を分泌する組換えビフィズス菌を用いて、ILの作用を腫瘍組織内に限定することで、副作用を抑えつつ高い治療効果を得ることを目指します。申請者らは既に複数のマウス由来IL遺伝子導入ビフィズス菌クローンを作出し、その抗腫瘍活性を確認しています。今後はin vitroおよびin vivoで基礎データを蓄積し、実用化に向けた開発を進めます。
