Outline of Research at the Start

九州大学医学研究院臨床検査医学との共同研究にて、腎臓組織から抽出・消化したペプチド溶液をイオン交換樹脂を用いて分画することにより、従来の報告と比較し飛躍的に多くのタンパクを同定することに成功した。さらに、米国Brigham and Women’s Hospital,CICSとの共同研究により最新のバイオインフォマティクスの技術を用いたプロテオミクス解析を行うことで、現在までにFSGS群で他群より有意に腎組織に増加しているタンパクを複数確認している。その中でも補体関連因子complement factor Dに注目し、FSGSの発症における補体の役割について病態解明を検討していく予定である。
