Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、造血幹細胞ニッチを構成する特殊な間葉系細胞が、どのようにして造血支持能を獲得するのかを解明することを目的とする。骨髄や髄外に発生する造血組織に着目し、そこに存在する造血支持細胞の構造と機能を、組織学的解析、シングルセル解析、全ゲノム解析などを用いて明らかにする。さらに、得られた知見をもとに分化経路や遺伝子変異の特性を解析し、間葉系細胞が造血幹細胞ニッチ構成要素として成熟する過程を分子レベルで理解することを目指す。
