Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、イエネコおよび野生ネコ科動物に寄生する糞線虫属線虫の多様性、系統関係、宿主特異性を分子系統解析により明らかにすることを目的とする。2025年度はインドネシア・マラン市で便サンプルを収集し、2026年度はペルー各地で同様の調査を行う。日本国内でも獣医療機関と連携し、広域からサンプルを集める。分離した虫体は18S/28S rDNAやcox1遺伝子で解析し、2027年度には代表個体を対象に次世代シーケンス（NGS）でゲノムデータを取得し、糞線虫属の分類体系の整理と系統関係の明確化を行う。一連の解析を通じ、分類が混乱していたネコ型宿主寄生性糞線虫の国際的分類基準の確立に資することを目指す。
