Outline of Research at the Start

申請者らはIL-1β産生を抑制する結核菌病原因子Zmp1 のマクロファージに対する作用を研究し、Zmp1が宿主の電子伝達系複合体I の構成分子GRIM-19への結合を介して、IL-1β前駆体の成熟IL-1βへのプロセッシングを抑制することを見出し報告した。さらに、Zmp1の新たな標的分子としてE3 ユビキチンリガーゼCOP1を同定し、また、Zmp1がIl1b、Il6などの炎症性サイトカイン遺伝子発現を抑制することを申請者らは見出した。本研究では、後者の活性の分子機構を生化学的に解明する。
