Outline of Research at the Start

ボツリヌス菌は世界最強の神経毒を産生し，毒素型の食中毒を起こすことで知られる．また1歳未満の乳児においてボツリヌス菌が腸内に長期間定着することで起こる乳児ボツリヌス症は特に深刻な問題であり，予防手段の確立が望まれる．本研究では多数の化学物質を探索してボツリヌス菌が忌避する物質を見出し，その定着を阻害することを目的として解析を行う．
