Outline of Research at the Start

細菌の産生するリボフラビ ン合成経路中間産物5-(2-oxopropylideneamino)-6-D-ribitylaminouracil (5-OP-RU)は宿主のMucosal associated invariant T(MAIT)細胞を活性化し、生体防御に重要である。本研究ではMAIT細胞の活性化機構の詳細を明らかにすることにより、MAIT細胞を基盤としたワクチンやプロバイオティクス等の新たな細菌感染制御法の開発を目指す。
