Outline of Research at the Start	ウイルス感染症に対する宿主防御メカニズムは、感染制御において極めて重要である。本研究は、宿主E3ユビキチンリガーゼMARCH8が複数のウイルスに対して持つ抗ウイルス機能のメカニズムを解明することを目的とする。我々の研究で、MARCH8がHIV-1を含む多くのウイルスに対して抑制効果を示すことが明らかになったが、その詳細は未解明である。本研究では、MARCH8と相互作用する補助的な調節因子を探索・同定・機能解析することで、MARCH8の抗ウイルスメカニズムを明らかにする。また、MARCH8とその調節因子が形成するタンパク質ネットワークを解析し、ウイルス抑制の分子メカニズムを解明する。
