Outline of Research at the Start

切除不能な肝細胞癌（HCC）に対する薬物療法として、分子標的薬に加えて癌免疫療法（ICI)の有効性が報告され、複合癌免疫療法が一次治療として推奨されるようになった。一方でmetabolic dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) / metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH)を背景とするHCCは肝炎ウィルスを背景とするHCCと比してICIの効果が乏しいと報告されておりMASLD related HCCの分子生物学的特徴や増殖機構を解明する必要があると考えた。
