Outline of Research at the Start

大腸がんの治療は進歩したが、依然として治療抵抗性と再発が課題である。がん細胞の多様性、特に緩慢増殖細胞の関与が注目されているが、その特性は不明な点が多い。これまでに我々は大腸がんオルガノイドから薬剤耐性の緩慢増殖細胞亜集団(S細胞)を分離し、CRISPRスクリーニングで重要遺伝子を同定した。本研究ではその遺伝子の機能と標的治療としての可能性を探る。緩慢増殖細胞の排除は新規治療法につながる可能性がある。
