Outline of Research at the Start

小腸癌は消化器悪性腫瘍の1－2％を占める稀少な腫瘍で、長期成績も極めて不良である。本研究では、小腸癌切除症例を対象とし、個々の症例の異種移植モデル（PDX）を作成し、遺伝子異常をもとに個別に至適薬剤を探索する革新的なシステムを構築することを目的とする。すなわち、個々の症例において切除標本から得られた腫瘍組織を用いてPDX作成を積み重ね、小腸癌PDXライブラリーを創設する。さらに細胞株化まで行い、すでにPreclinicalに臨床試験段階の新規薬剤を用いて、in vitro、in vivoにて薬剤感受性、もしくはそれらの耐性機序の解明を行う。
