Outline of Research at the Start

PNPLA6ががん悪性化に寄与する機能分子である可能性を背景に、 PNPLA6欠損、及び高発現がん細胞株を用いた細胞機能解析から、さらに細胞内代謝・リピドミクス解析、がん細胞移植実験、がん特異的変異PNPLA6の酵素活性測定実験を行い、PNPLA6による細胞膜リン脂質の調節機構を解明し、新たながん悪性化調節機構を提唱することを達成目標とする。
