Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、肺癌の新規治療モダリティとして「経気道治療」の臨床応用を目指すものである。従来の肺癌治療薬の「経口」「経静脈」投与に代わる「第三の投与法」による、「免疫治療薬」と「分子標的薬」を組み合わせた肺癌治療の未来像に迫る。本研究の基盤技術は、これまでに実施した「肺線維症」「肺気腫」「肺癌」モデルを用いた経気道投与が可能な治療ツールの開発にある。本研究では、経気道投与用の非晶質化分子標的薬と、免疫チェックポイント阻害抗体等を産生する組換え乳酸菌の経気道治療技術の融合化・最適化をすすめ、「肺癌の経気道免疫複合治療」の有効性を検証し、臨床導出に向けた基盤構築を目指す。
