KeywordsCD86 / CD8 T cell
Outline of Research at the Start

The tumor microenvironment (TME) contains immunosuppressive cells that promote tumor progression and hinder immunotherapy. We identified a unique CD86CD8; T cell subset with features of exhaustion, immunosuppression, and regulatory T cell-like transcriptional profiles. This study investigates their distribution, function, and suppressive mechanisms in tumors and spleens. In vivo and in vitro experiments will assess their role in immune regulation and potential as novel targets for cancer immunotherapy.
