Outline of Research at the Start

膀胱小細胞癌は稀ながら極めて悪性度が高く、標準治療では十分な効果が得られにくい難治性腫瘍である。本研究では、肺小細胞癌で確立された細胞系統転写因子（ASCL1、NEUROD1、POU2F3など）による層別化手法を膀胱領域に応用し、免疫染色や次世代シーケンス解析を駆使して、膀胱小細胞癌の分子生物学的不均一性と腫瘍微小環境の特徴を包括的に評価する。亜群ごとの遺伝子変異や免疫回避機構、治療標的分子を明らかにし、有望なバイオマーカー開発と精密医療への応用を図ることで、従来法では十分な効果が得られなかった膀胱小細胞癌の予後改善に貢献することを目指す。
