Outline of Research at the Start

研究代表者等は膵臓癌などの難治性固形癌に対する新規治療法としてGlypican-1（GPC1）を標的とした抗体薬物複合体(GPC1-ADC)を開発し、担癌マウスを用いてその有用性を証明した。現在、研究代表者等は進行切除不能膵臓癌に対する新規治療薬としてGPC1-ADCの実用化を進めている。このような膵臓癌患者集団の中にはゲムシタビン治療再発症例も含まれるが、有効な治療法が確立されていない。本研究では、ゲムシタビン抵抗性膵臓癌に対するGPC1-ADCの抗腫瘍効果を、分子生物学的手法を用いて解析し、膵臓癌の新規治療薬としてGPC1-ADCの実用化に向けた非臨床POCを取得することを目的とする。
