Outline of Research at the Start

胆道がんや腎がんにはBAP1変異が多く認められ、腫瘍の発生・進展に関わっているが、その詳細な役割は不明である。胆道がんは分子標的薬の少ない予後不良のがんであり、BAP1変異を認める腎がんは予後が悪く、いずれも新たな治療標的分子の同定、治療戦略の開発が望まれている。本研究では、①BAP1機能喪失のあるがんはどのような遺伝子発現パターン・シグナル伝達異常を持っているのかを明らかにする。さらに②BAP1が関与する新たな脱ユビキチン化標的分子を同定する。これらの結果をもとに③BAP1機能喪失のあるがんの分子学的特徴を明らかにし、新たな治療標的分子や治療戦略を探索する。の3つの課題に取り組む。
