Outline of Research at the Start

高齢者のアルツハイマー型認知症（AD）が増加しており、ADに進展する軽度認知障害（AD関連MCI）の簡易で非侵襲の早期診断法が求められている。本研究は、歩行機能低下をAD関連MCIの臨床的特徴と捉え、歩行機能を組み入れたAD関連MCIの早期診断バイオマーカー開発と病態解析を目的とする。具体的には、①Aβ・海馬萎縮・認知機能低下に相関する歩容・歩行機能低下と、②AD関連MCIの歩行機能に関連するペプチド・遺伝子多型を同定する。本研究では「山形県コホート研究」を基に、山形県高畠町の健常高齢者の歩行機能を、簡易にスマートフォンアプリで解析し、血液・頭部画像解析を組み合わせる。
