Outline of Research at the Start

CKDやサルコペニアはしばしば合併し「筋腎連関」という共通のメカニズムの存在が示唆されるも、その機序は不明である。これまでの基礎検討において、我々は新規遺伝子であるR3hdmlがCKD/サルコペニアの診断・治療のKeyであると考えた。
本研究は臨床・基礎研究の両面からアプローチし、最終的にR3hdmlを用いた「筋腎連関」
の病態メカニズムの解明とCKD/サルコペニアの新規バイオマーカーの確立を達成を目指す。
