Outline of Research at the Start

SABは罹患率と死亡率の高い感染症である。MSSA/MRSAの現行法での検出では、1日～数日を要する。そのためSABが疑われる場合検査結果が出るまでの間、しばしば必要のない経験的治療を実施することになる。申請者は、長年にわたる抗菌薬適正使用支援チーム（Antimicrobial Stewardship Teaｍ, AST）の活動を通し、この問題に直面してきた。また、近年血液培養ボトルの世界的不足が起きたことを鑑み、MSSAまたはMRSAによるSABの迅速検査の確立は重症感染症の診療上非常に重要な課題と考えた。本課題では、マイクロ流路型遺伝子定量装置を用いた迅速かつ可能な限り簡便にSABの診断を可能にする方法を確立する。
