Outline of Research at the Start	トランスサイレチンアミロイドーシスの現在の治療法は、トランスサイレチンの産生抑制とアミロイド原性を制御することにより進行抑制を企図したものである。本研究は、トランスサイレチンアミロイドーシスにおいて重要な発症因子である細胞外マトリックスの老化を標的として、老化細胞除去により本症の発症を抑制し、アミロイド沈着組織の回復を促進する新たな治療法を開発することを目的とし、種々の細胞培養モデル、疾患モデルマウスを用いて、老化細胞除去療法による効果を系統的に解析する。
