Outline of Research at the Start

Treg（制御性T細胞）表面のCCR5の刺激によりTregは胎盤へ動員されること、ヒト絨毛性ゴナドトロピン（hCG）を産生する栄養膜細胞にTregが遊走することなどが、反復性流産の治療に対する免疫学的アプローチとして利用できる可能性が報告されている。また妊娠は、子宮脱落膜の細胞障害性Tリンパ球抗原（CTLA)-4陽性Tregが、父親由来抗原に対する免疫を抑制することで維持されている。本研究では、胎盤へのCCR5陽性Tregの遊走を促し、胎盤におけるCTLA-4陽性Tregを増加させ、局所的な免疫反応不顕性を示す生薬及び漢方薬を見出すことで、これら生薬及び漢方薬の流産予防に対する応用を目指す。
