Outline of Research at the Start

自己免疫性脳炎の診断には、患者の血清・脳脊髄液中に存在する疾患特異的な抗神経抗体の検索が重要である。本研究の目的は、新規抗神経抗体を同定することにより、自己免疫性脳炎の新たなバイオマーカーを確立することである。本研究では、これまで報告の少ないアストロサイトを標的とする抗神経抗体に着目する。自己免疫性脳炎患者の脳脊髄液中より、免疫組織染色を用い未知のアストロサイト抗体を検出し、抗体の認識抗原を免疫沈降と質量分析等を用いることにより同定する。同定した抗体の測定系を構築し、その他の神経疾患を含む多数例での抗体の検索を介した特異性の検証を行うことにより自己免疫性脳炎の新たなバイオマーカーを確立する。
