Outline of Research at the Start

神経感染症および自己免疫性脳炎は初期症状が類似しており、鑑別の難しさから診断遅延や誤診により重篤な転帰を招くことがある。本研究は両疾患に共通する診療プロセスを整理し、迅速かつ的確な診断・治療を可能にする統合的診療アルゴリズムを構築することを目的とする。代表者らが開発したマルチプレックスPCRとin-house two-stepアッセイを用いて、診断精度と治療反応性を多角的に検証し長期予後やQOLへの影響も評価する。また、免疫学的解析により病態のクロストークを明らかにし新規バイオマーカーの同定も試みる。本研究は診療の質と標準化を推進し患者の予後改善と医療資源の最適化に寄与することが期待される。
