Outline of Research at the Start

代表的な自己免疫性神経疾患のギランバレー症候群(GBS)や慢性炎症性脱髄性多発神経炎(CIDP)は、末梢神経に対し抗体が自己免疫を誘発することで発症する。自己免疫疾患における自己抗原の特定は、早期診断、重症化抑制、診療ガイドラインの最適化、発症機序の解明や治療法の開発に繋がるため、頗る重要な課題であるが、技術的な問題もあり、さほど進展がない。本課題は、自己免疫性神経疾患患者血清からの未知の自己抗原の同定、そのための独自技術の開発、を目的とする。本系の開発により、自己免疫性神経疾患の迅速診断、患者のQOL（Quality of Life）や医療経済への負担減少が期待できる。
