Outline of Research at the Start

応募者らは「非定型パーキンソニズムの一部に免疫療法により治療可能な自己免疫性脳炎が含まれている」という仮説を立てた．まず抗IgLON5抗体関連疾患に注目した．そして2020年，CBSの臨床像を呈した世界第1例を発見し，さらに2024年にMSAの臨床像を呈した3症例を報告した．この過程で，IgLON5抗体は陰性であるものの，未知の抗神経抗体が陽性である非定型パーキンソニズムが存在することを確認した．本研究の目的は，①自己免疫性非定型パーキンソニズムの臨床診断基準を作成すること，②標的抗原を同定しアッセイ系を確立すること，③免疫療法の有効率と，その予測因子を同定することである．
