Outline of Research at the Start

Fontan関連肝疾患（Fontan-associated liver disease：FALD）の原因は、高い中心静脈圧により肝にうっ血を生じることである。肝うっ血は肝の線維化をきたし、進行すると肝硬変の原因となる。また、特に線維化の強いFALDには肝細胞癌が生じることがある。MRIには肝うっ血や線維化の程度を評価できる種々のパラメーターがあり、FALDに伴う肝実質の変化を包括的に評価することが可能である。本研究ではFALD患者を対象に、種々のMRIパラメーターを評価し、FALDの新たな評価法を確立する。また、MRIによる肝細胞癌の発癌リスクの予測モデルを確立する。
