Outline of Research at the Start

パーキンソン病は進行性の神経変性疾患であり、運動症状が出現し臨床診断が可能になる前から不可逆的に神経変性が進行し、その症状や進行速度が多様かつ不均一である。本研究では、先進的なMRI技術を用いて、皮質下および皮質の神経変性を定量的に評価し、パーキンソン病の早期診断法を確立することを目的とする。さらに、機械学習アルゴリズムを用いて、画像特徴量と臨床指標に基づく客観的なサブタイプ分類および予後予測モデルを構築し、パーキンソン病の早期診断と個別化医療の実現を目指す。
