Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、大腿四頭筋内の筋肉の質の分布に関する新たな知見を提供し、サルコペニアの診断機器開発に貢献することを目的としています。サルコペニア患者は国内に５００万人以上おり、筋力や機能の低下が進むことで、死亡や要介護のリスクが高まります。医療資源の損失が大きいため、新しい治療法や診断機器の開発が重要です。本研究では、ｍｐＭＲＩ（ｍｕｌｔｉｐａｒａｍｅｔｒｉｃＭＲＩ）の脂肪含有量を含む、複数の指標をもとに、筋肉の質を表現する統合的な指標を考案し、筋肉の質マップとして「見える化」します。臨床研究を実施し、筋肉の質マップを作成し、サルコペニアの診断機器のＲ＆Ｄを支える新たな基盤を構築します。
