Outline of Research at the Start

拡散MRIは画像自体のボクセルサイズよりも遥かに小さいμmスケールの構造的特徴をMRI信号に反映するため、現状では生検や切除によってしか得られない生体組織の情報を非侵襲的に取得可能とすることが期待されている。本研究では、脳腫瘍術前症例において複数の撮影パラメータ（b値、b-tensor、diffusion time）を組み合わせた多次元的な拡散MRIデータを取得し、腫瘍組織型や浸潤範囲、固さ等の臨床的関心の高い特徴との相関を探索する。得られた結果を元に、各撮影で取得される情報間の重複を最小とし、限られた検査時間で効率良く情報を収集するための実用的な撮影プロトコルの樹立を目指す。
