Outline of Research at the Start

治療困難ながんは多く存在し、薬剤耐性の獲得、高い転移性などの理由で、治療法としての課題は未だ残っているものは多い。また、最近ではラジオセラノスティクス（放射性同位元素を用いた診断と治療の融合）が注目されている。申請者は、治療困難がんに対してラジオセラノスティクスが有効となるプローブを創製し、新たな治療法として確立することを目的とし、がんに高発現する「Glucose Regulated Protein 78 (GRP78)」を標的としたプローブ開発を行う。GRP78を標的としたラジオセラノスティクスプローブは未だ臨床応用されておらず、治療困難ながんに対して新たな治療効果が期待できると考えられる。
