Outline of Research at the Start	小児科診療では、血中ケトン体が上昇するケトーシスに遭遇する機会が多く、その中には重篤な代謝発作を引き起こすケトン体代謝異常症が潜んでいることがある。確定診断には遺伝子解析や酵素活性測定が不可欠だが、従来の方法では診断に至らない未解決例も少なくない。本研究では、全ゲノム解析（WGS）やマルチオミックス解析（RNAシークエンスやプロテオーム解析）を組み合わせた先進的な手法を用いて、これらの未診断例に対する高精度な診断体制の構築を目指す。さらに、診断例については難病プラットフォームへ登録し、長期的なフォローアップを通じて情報を蓄積することで、遺伝子型と表現型の相関や詳細な自然歴の解明を進める。
