Outline of Research at the Start

ライソゾーム病の次なる治療の可能性として、分解できない代謝産物をエクソサイトーシスにより細胞外に放出すること、またはライソゾームに癒合させないことにより、細胞内に分解できない代謝産物を減らし、アポトーシスを回避することを目的とする。ムコ多糖症ⅢB型の線維芽細胞を用いて、エクソサイトーシスとオートファジーを修飾する物質を探索することにより、細胞生存維持に適切な条件を見つける。これらにより、臨床応用に向けての基礎的知見を得る。
