| Outline of Research at the Start |
近年、自閉スペクトラム症(ASD)と炎症性腸疾患（IBD）の発生頻度が増加しており，両
者の合併率も高い。増加の要因として何らかの環境要因による腸内細菌叢、免疫、エピゲノム変化が疑われている。本研究では、ASD とIBD の両者に共通する病態形成への関与が疑わ
れる腸内細菌叢とそれに由来する代謝物、プロテオグリカンの変化、免疫異常およびエピゲ
ノム変化について同一集団で包括的に検討することにより、それらの因子の相互の関連性と
ASD およびIBD の病態との関連性を明らかにしたい。本研究の成果は、ASD とIBD 発症抑制のための介入方法の開発や病態改善のための治療の開発につながる。
