Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、AxD患者由来iPS細胞を用いたin vitroおよび独自のin vivoモデルを活用して、アストロサイトとオリゴデンドロサイト間の相互作用にきたす異常が白質障害を引き起こす仕組みを明らかにするものである。白質ジストロフィーの病態解明と将来的な治療法開発に資する基礎的知見の創出を目指す。
