Outline of Research at the Start	潰瘍性大腸炎は慢性腸炎を呈する原因不明の疾患です。近年多くの分子標的薬が開発されていますが、各製剤の治療奏効率は概ね40－60％にとどまり、100％の患者で効果がでないことが知られています。治療効果のばらつきは、患者の病態や免疫学的プロファイルの多様性が原因と推測されていますが、詳細は不明です。腸炎を自然発症するIL-10-/-マウスは、リンパ球が病態形成の中心と考えられていますが、我々は、このマウスでリンパ球を欠損させても引き続き慢性腸炎が起こることを見出しました。本課題では、腸炎の原因細胞の同定を試み、潰瘍性大腸炎の多様性と個別化医療にむけた基礎的エビデンスの蓄積を目指します。
