Outline of Research at the Start

原発性硬化性胆管炎(PSC, Primary Sclerosing Cholangilitis)には有効な治療法がなく潰瘍性大腸炎(UC, Ulcerative Colitis)をしばしば合併する。我々は先行研究でAryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) ligandとして作用する青黛に関してUCに対する有効性を示したが、予備検討において、薬剤誘発性胆管炎マウス、胆汁うっ滞性胆管炎を呈するPSCモデルマウスにおいて、青黛やAhR ligandが胆管障害を抑制することを見出した。本研究ではAhR ligandをPSCに対する創薬シーズとして展開することを目的とする。
