Outline of Research at the Start

代謝機能障害関連脂肪性肝疾患（MASLD）は肝細胞癌（HCC）の主要なリスク因子であり、その進展メカニズムの解明が求められている。近年、染色体外環状DNA（ecDNA）が複数の癌で発見され、癌の進行や悪性化に関与することが報告されている。本研究では、MASLD関連HCC患者の臨床サンプルや動物モデルを用いて、ecDNAの構造や機能を解析し、HCCの進行や治療抵抗性への影響を調査する。さらに、ecDNAを標的とした治療の有効性を検証する。本研究の成果は、MASLD関連HCCの発癌メカニズムの理解を深め、ecDNAを標的としたMASLD関連HCCの新たな予後予測マーカーや治療戦略の確立に貢献する。
