Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、がんの周囲に存在する「腫瘍微小環境」と呼ばれる組織や細胞の状態を、正常な環境へと再構築することで、体の免疫力を回復・強化し、がんの進行を抑える新たな治療法を開発することを目的とする。特に、がんの周囲にある異常な血管や免疫細胞の働きを整えることで、抗がん剤や免疫療法、放射線治療などの治療効果を高めることを目指す。また、将来的には個々の患者に合わせた最適な治療法の選択にもつなげていく。
