Outline of Research at the Start

慢性肝疾患患者は高率にsarcopenia を合併し、sarcopeniaとMASLDはインスリン抵抗性やdysbiosisなど共通の病態が関わり、両者が合併するsarcopenic MASLD（Sar-MASLD）は予後不良であることが知られているが、有効な治療法は確立していない。
本研究では乳酸菌によるSar-MASLDの改善効果の解析及び菌由来活性物質の同定とそのメカニズムを探索し、全く新たなSar-MASLD治療開発の基盤成果を得る。
