Outline of Research at the Start

潰瘍性大腸炎や非アルコール性脂肪肝炎（NASH）は、腸や肝臓に慢性炎症を引き起こす病気で、発症の仕組みはまだ十分にわかっていない。我々はこれまでの実験結果をもとに、MIP1-γという物質は、腸や肝臓に多く存在し、炎症を抑える働きがあると考えている。本研究では、このMIP1-γが炎症の悪化をどう防いでいるのかをマウスや細胞実験を使って明らかにし、新しい治療の手がかりを得ることを目的とする。
