Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、腸管に存在する味覚受容体による好酸球性消化管疾患を含む炎症性腸疾患の病態解明と治療法開発を目的とする。主に味覚受容体の腸管上皮特異的ノックアウトマウスモデルや腸管内分泌細胞株を用いて、腸管上皮味覚受容体による腸管免疫応答機構への影響や、その制御に関連する炎症性サイトカイン・アレルギー関連因子を解析する。さらに疾患を有するヒトの小腸における味覚受容体発現解析を行う。解析結果から、好酸球性消化管疾患や炎症性腸疾患の病態解明と新規治療薬の創出に向けた基盤データを得る。
