Outline of Research at the Start	がんの転移源となる体内循環がん細胞塊は、表面にバリアとしてアピカル膜を形成しているが、転移先に接着し増殖を再開する過程で表面バリアは消失する。これまでに、この過程で活性化する受容体型チロシンキナーゼ分子を同定しているが、免疫染色法では細胞塊表面に存在が確認できていない。本研究ではこの分子に接着情報を伝えるがん細胞塊表面分子を探索し、転移確立過程の分子機構を解明することを目指している。
