Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は腸内細菌叢に変化を野生型マウスならびに腎臓でのナトリウムチャネルを欠損したマウスに加えたモデルを用いる。このモデルの血圧変化、腸管でのナトリウム代謝を解析することにより従来より言われているナトリウム排泄、血管抵抗の変化による高血圧発症メカニズムに加えて消化管におけるナトリウム吸収の重要性を明らかにする新たな研究である。また本研究から減塩食、薬物による降圧治療に加えて、食事内容により腸内細菌叢を変化させることによる新たな食塩感受性高血圧治療法の基盤を提示するものである。
