Outline of Research at the Start

日本のβ遮断薬治療は欧米と比べ、低用量である。日本ではβ遮断薬の臨床開発の段階から欧米より低用量で設定されてきたが、その科学的根拠は明確でない。さらにアジア諸国でもβ遮断薬の低用量設定は日本のみであり、β遮断薬の反応性に人種差があるの否かは不明である。本研究はβ遮断薬に対する心拍反応性の人種差の検討、日本人心不全患者の前向き観察研究からβ遮断薬の用量と効果の関係、さらに保険データベースよりβ遮断薬の用量と予後に関する解析を行い、多方向から検討する。循環器内科学および臨床薬理学の視点から、日本の循環器診療で長年解決されずにきたβ遮断薬の適正用量に対し、本研究を通して回答を出したい。
